Bio
Ms. Dobrott graduated from Texas State University with a degree in Theatre Education and a minor in Business Administration. She quickly returned to Plano to teach at the very school where she first fell in love with theatre. Prior to her current role, Ms. Dobrott taught at Wilson Middle School, where her dedication to student growth and artistic excellence earned her the distinction of 2024–2025 Teacher of the Year.

Ms. Dobrott firmly believes that theatre imparts vital life skills—such as collaboration, empathy, and creative problem-solving—that leave a lasting impact on students and prepare them to become outstanding members of society. She delights in creating the magic of theatre alongside her students, guiding them to explore new ways of expressing themselves and discovering the power of their own voices.
